In the City of Seven Walls, the cursed servant of a ruined House waits for the last scion to drink himself to death. So when the man is brutally killed, it expects to be free. Instead, the servant discovers that its curse outlives its House, and it must avenge a man it hated or die in agony.
It goes after the ones who destroyed its House, planning to kill them and ends its curse. Instead, it discovers that that its master is not the only victim. Worse, the other Houses are blaming it for their own master’s deaths.
But nothing is as it seems in the City of Seven Walls. As the servant struggles to stay alive, it learns they are facing something far more dangerous that it thought possible, and that avenging its master may kill them all.
